6-alpha-Fluoro-isoflupredone (also known as 6α,9α-Difluoroprednisolone, NSC 77021) is a corticosteroid hormone. It has been used as therapeutic steroid for the management of certain diseases of the eye. In more recent screens for anti-cancer activity 6-alpha-Fluoro-isoflupredone proved active in the NCI human tumor cell line growth inhibition assay.
