Desonide is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory activities, as a nonfluorinated analog of triamcinolone acetonide. It is primarily used to treat atopic dermatitis (eczema), seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis and psoriasis in both adults and children.
