1,4,7,10-Tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid (also named as DOTA, Tetraxetan) is a orgnic acid commonly used as chelating agent and MOF ligand in organic synthesis. e.g. it can be employed as a chelating agent in the preparation of gadolinium-based MRI contrast agent (GBCA).
