tert-Butyl 4-(cyclopropylmethyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (also named as N-Boc-4-(cyclopropylmethyl)piperazine) was used to prepare a class of imidazole-free histamine H(3) receptor antagonists. It is recently employed in the preparation of AG348 (PKM2 activator 1020) as a PKM2 activator (pyruvate kinase activator) for the treatment of pyruvate kinase deficiency.
1-alkyl-4-acylpiperazines as a new class of imidazole-free histamine H(3) receptor antagonists. [1]
Pyruvate kinase M2 activation may protect against the progression of diabetic glomerular pathology and mitochondrial dysfunction. [2]
