Sodium Triflinate(Langlois reagent) is an efficient sulfinate salt for the typical radical trifluoromethylation of various aryls, aryl boronic acids, alkenes, and alkynes. This reagent is also employed for trifluoromethylthiolation of arenes and heteroarenes.
