2'-Deoxycytidine-5'-monophosphate disodium salt (also named as dCMP•Na2) is mainly used as a substrate of uridine monophosphate (UMP)/ cytidine monophosphate (CMP) kinase to form dCDP which upon phosphorylation to dCTP supports DNA and RNA biosynthesis.
